E-Statements give credit union members the ability to view their statements electronically via Home Banking, eliminating the need for sending paper statements.
E-Statements are a service option provided by GALAXY Netbranch Plus, allowing credit union members free access to their statements online via their Home Banking Internet connection. Paper statements are automatically discontinued once the member enrolls in the E-Statement Standard Plan, and there are no monthly usage fees charged to the member under this plan.
Enrolling members are required to accept an E-Statement Disclosure, consenting to electronic delivery of their statements. Upon enrollment, members will have immediate access to their online statements and will be able view the last 90 days of statements. E-Statements beyond the last 90 days are archived and can also be accessed by the member.
All E-Statement enrollees receive an automatic Email Notification, informing them that their statements are available and can be viewed by clicking the E-Statement Service Option on their Home Banking Main Menu.
Future Enhancements
Currently, only one plan (the Standard Plan) is available for E-Statements. Future enhancements include adding multiple plan options, allowing credit unions to offer different types of plans to their members. Each plan will be allowed to have different billing options, such as an Introductory Plan, a VIP Plan, a Senior Citizen Plan, etc.
