Store and Forward gives credit unions the ability to access member account information and perform transactions on a PC when the host system is unavailable or unnecessary.

How does Store and Forward draw from the system if it is unavailable?

The Store and Forward software has a transaction screen that is very similar to GALAXY's transaction screen. Using the updated trial balance that is down-loaded on a daily basis, transactions are processed on the PC using current account balances. When the host becomes available, the "transaction file" is uploaded to the host and posted as a batch job.

What types of transactions can be completed in Store and Forward mode?

Download Trial Balance to PC

Load member account information from the trial balance into the PC data base

View current balance and memo post transactions

Build a data file containing completed transactions in the PC

Upload data file containing all transactions entered during memo posting

Preprocess and post transactions

Credit Union manually updates General Ledger, next check number, and checks file maintenance
